New First Presidency Announced
At a press conference at 11:00 today, it was announced that President Thomas S. Monson was ordained yesterday as the new President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. President Henry B. Eyring was ordained as his First Counselor and President Dieter F. Uchtdorf as Second Counselor. The vacancy in the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles will be filled later.
