Web Site for the Country of Latvia
We are pleased to announce that the country of Latvia now has a Web site for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The Church now has 63 country Web sites.
In addition to the Web sites managed from Church headquarters in Salt Lake City, each country is authorized to create a country Web site under the direction of the Area Presidency. These are hosted in country and provide:
- Positive Church presence in the language of the country.
- Local history, events, and other information.
- Links to other translated materials on official Church sites.
Country sites are popular, and receive about a million page views each month.
